Alicia Zimmerman has over 20 years of experience throughout the country in transportation planning, engineering, and construction implementation. She has a diverse background working effectively with public, private, and non-profit clients and projects of all sizes. Her efforts have focused on active transportation and complete streets projects ranging from system-level analyses to detailed construction documents. She played a key role in designing and implementing the first protected intersection and first two-way protected bike lanes in Denver, is a member of the National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (NCUTCD), and is the state’s only NACTO certified trainer. She has a passion for creating and designing vibrant communities that integrate transportation opportunities for all users.
